WordPress and Microsoft 365 training

Hands-on WordPress and Microsoft 365 courses, from first-day basics to advanced workflows. For individuals and teams who want the skill to stick, taught onsite or live online.

This is the training catalogue: hands-on days for the software your team actually uses to get work done. Two families sit here. The WordPress track takes you from your first login through running a site like a developer, and the Microsoft 365 track covers Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint from the basics up to analyst-level work. Every course is built for a specific kind of person and a specific job, from beginner to advanced. I deliver onsite or live online, at a flat $1,495 per day.

Delivered by Christopher Ross, who has run classroom, virtual, and onsite training across North America since 2004.

Onsite across the Niagara region (Fort Erie, St. Catharines) and the GTA, or live online anywhere in Canada.

12 courses across 5 platforms, beginner to advanced.

How it works

A day runs as one focused session, six hours, with everyone working on their own machine through real examples rather than watching slides. I deliver onsite across Niagara and the GTA, or live online for a team anywhere, with up to about 12 people in the room. Before anything is booked, a 20-minute discovery call confirms the right course, the format, and a fixed quote, so there are no surprises later.

Not sure which level?

Not sure which level fits? Pick by the work you do, not by how long you have been at it. If a tool still feels like guesswork, start at 101. If you can do the basics without help and want to go further, the 201 and 301 days are next, and the advanced tracks are for analysts and developers. If you are still weighing it, that is exactly what the 20-minute discovery call is for: tell me what the team does day to day, and I will point you to the right day or build a custom one.

Common questions about training

How much does training cost?

Every course is $1,495 per day, onsite or live online, for up to about 12 people. A half day is $750, and multi-day work bills at the same day rate. The 20-minute discovery call confirms a fixed quote.

Do you train remotely?

Yes. Every course runs live online over Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams, or onsite across the Niagara region and the GTA. Travel beyond Niagara is billed at cost.

What is the minimum group size?

There is no minimum for private team training. The day rate is the same whether one person attends or twelve. Open public seats, when scheduled, are priced per student on the events calendar.

Which course should we start with?

If you are not sure, the 101 in each track is the safe start. Book a 20-minute call and I will recommend a level, or a level check first if the team is mixed.

Common questions

Do you train onsite or online?

Both. I run private on-site team sessions across Niagara and open registration events when dates are posted. Distributed teams can train on Microsoft Teams or Zoom with the same materials and reference sheets.

What is the minimum group size?

Open public events have no minimum. Register your seat directly from the event page. Private team bookings use a day-rate model: $1,495 for up to 8 participants, with additional participants available up to a maximum of 10.

Can you tailor the course to our specific tools and workflows?

Yes. Custom workshops start with a 30-minute scoping call to map the agenda to your actual toolset and skill gaps. Use the Book Team Training link at the top of this page to start that conversation.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Two to three weeks is usually enough for onsite delivery in Niagara. Virtual sessions can often run within a week. Custom workshops need a scoping call first, so allow an extra week for that step.

What does a typical engagement cost?

Private on-site training: $1,495 per day for up to 8 participants, with additional participants available up to a maximum of 10. Half-day: $750. Travel throughout the Niagara region is included. Open public events are priced per student, and the 20-minute scoping call confirms your fixed quote for private delivery.

Who runs the training?

I do. I am Christopher Ross. Twenty-two years of training delivery, currently a Training & Development Specialist at M.L. Campbell (Sherwin-Williams), and an MA Candidate in Learning & Technology. Earlier instructional-design work includes WordCamp speaking, federal departments, and provincial education clients. Every session on this page is delivered by me, not subcontracted.

Is there a certificate or completion record?

Yes. Each participant gets a PDF certificate of completion with the course name, the date, and my name as the trainer. It attests that the person attended the session and worked through the material with me, which is what HR records and manager reports usually need. If you are sending a group, I can pull a single completion summary for the whole cohort on request.
