A WooCommerce store launched properly — from $6,500.
From $6,500 · 6–10 weeks · New WooCommerce shops launching with up to 50 SKUs and a single shipping region.
The entry tier of the E-commerce Sites ladder. A WooCommerce build for a real business launching its first online catalogue — with the payment, shipping, tax, and inventory pieces wired in cleanly so you are not patching them six weeks after launch. Built for owners with product to ship, an audience that wants to buy from you online, and a need to launch without overspending on an Enterprise-shape build the catalogue does not justify yet.

What gets built
- A WordPress + WooCommerce shop on your own hosting, your own domain, with the admin under your control.
- A custom storefront theme — not a marketplace theme bent into the shape of your catalogue.
- Product catalogue of up to 50 SKUs set up with the categories, attributes, and variations the business actually uses — not the WooCommerce defaults.
- Payment integration — Stripe, PayPal, or your existing processor — with the sandbox-to-live flow tested.
- Shipping setup for a single shipping region with the carriers and rates the business uses today.
- Tax configuration for the region(s) you sell into.
- Transactional email — order confirmation, shipping confirmation, recovery flows — styled to match the brand and configured to actually deliver.
- Performance and accessibility on the product, category, and checkout templates to WCAG 2.1 AA.
The audit included at this tier
Starting Out engagements include the $500 pre-check audit by default, credited back against the build. At this tier the audit is tuned to the actual launch shape: the catalogue, the fulfilment model, the payment processor, and the regulatory and tax surface.
- A catalogue and product-data review. What SKUs exist today (or are planned), what attributes and variations are needed, and what the import shape looks like.
- A payment, shipping, and tax fit check. Whether the processor, carriers, and tax rules you want to use are appropriate for the shape of the business, and whether the WooCommerce integrations exist or need custom work.
- A technical-SEO and structured-data scan — Product schema, category structure, and the items that affect how product pages surface in search.
- A hosting and resilience review appropriate for a launching store — what fails when traffic spikes from a launch campaign, and what the recovery story looks like.
- A one-page memo covering the launch sequence, the items that need to land before opening day, and the post-launch dependencies (inventory feed, accounting integration, etc.) that often get missed.
If the pre-check shows the catalogue or fulfilment shape is past Starting Out scale — multiple shipping regions, 100+ SKUs, custom checkout logic, or B2B pricing — the memo routes the engagement to Expanding or the National flagship. Audit cost credits forward.
Training included
You leave able to operate the shop — add products, manage orders, run a launch campaign — without coming back to me for routine operations.
- Two 90-minute live online seminars — one on catalogue and product management, one on order processing and the back-of-house operations.
- A recorded library of both seminars plus a tailored walkthrough of the specific storefront and admin built for you.
- A written operator reference covering catalogue updates, order processing, refund procedures, inventory adjustments, and the recovery steps for the common “stuck order” scenarios.
- 90 days of email Q&A access post-launch on anything related to the build, no per-ticket limit.
WordPress training classes delivered as part of this package
The training surface above is built around the WordPress training catalogue. The specific classes delivered as part of this engagement:
- WordPress Training 101 — compressed remote session covering WordPress basics.
- Bespoke workshop on top of the catalogue. A WooCommerce admin walkthrough covering catalogue management, order processing, and refund procedures — tuned to the specific store built for you.
Each course in the WordPress training catalogue has its own public-cohort schedule and pricing if your team wants the catalogue cohort outside an engagement. Within an engagement the delivery is tailored to your specific build — same curriculum, your context, your dashboard.
Starting smaller is never a mistake
Who this is for
- ✅ You have product to sell online and an audience ready to buy from you.
- ✅ Up to about 50 SKUs at launch, with a single shipping region.
- ✅ You want to own the platform — not run on Shopify or a similar SaaS that ratchets in fees as you grow.
- ✅ You expect the catalogue to grow into the next tier eventually and want the build designed so it can.
- ❌ More than 100 SKUs, multiple shipping regions, or custom checkout logic — that is Expanding.
- ❌ National brand with multi-currency, multi-warehouse fulfilment, and fulfilment-system integrations — that is the National flagship.
- ❌ No product to ship — a brand site without a real catalogue is Owner-Run Sites.
Considering a different E-commerce tier?
Larger catalogue or more complex shipping? Expanding at $15,000+. National brand with multi-channel retail and fulfilment complexity? National flagship at $60,000+. Different shape entirely? All services.
