a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of building an online menu system for Weston Italian Restaurant (http://www.westonitalian.com/) and as always, I began by surfing the Web to see what other restaurants used as online ordering systems.

This got me thinking (as these activities often do) and I realized that most restaurants, especially smaller ones, simply don’t have an understanding of the Web or how it can help their business.

Over the next few weeks, I plan to write a handful of articles on this subject designed specifically to help restaurant owners understand the value of the web, as well as technologies associated with it.

If you have questions specific to the restaurant business, or questions about the web in general, please feel free to let me know and I will attempt to address them in good time.
