training technology

Training technology is the set of tools and platforms used to design, deliver, and track professional learning inside organizations. It includes learning management systems for structured courses, learning experience platforms for self-directed paths, authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate for building interactive lessons, video hosting for lectures and demos, and middleware that syncs completion records into HR systems. Modern stacks favor mobile-first delivery, SCORM and xAPI support so systems can talk to each other, and analytics that connect training to actual performance. The market is consolidating, as big HR-software vendors like Workday and SAP build learning features straight into their suites instead of leaving them to separate tools.
