You’ll enter the email address you used when you signed up. The site sends a short email to that address with a link in it. You click the link, the site asks you to pick a new password, and that is the new password from then on. The whole exercise takes about two minutes, most of which is waiting for the email.

If the email doesn’t arrive within five minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Password reset emails sometimes land there the first time. If it is still not there after five more minutes, email hello@thisismyurl.com and I’ll get you in. If you remember your old password before the reset email arrives, you can still use it. Nothing changes until you actually pick a new one on the reset screen.
