Working with WordPress and Twitter
The website WP Code Snippets has written a fantastic post about getting Twitter data to work well with WordPress, including a A Shortcode To Get Twitter User Data. Today, it released a two-part series called How to Get Twitter User Data I and How to Get Twitter User Data II. All three of these are terrific articles on interacting with Twitter and displaying the content on your website. As a shameless piece of self-promotion, I’d also like to point to the Helpful Coder articles on a similar subject, Show Tweets without a plugin, Show Your Latest Tweet in WordPress and Show Twitter Description in WordPress.
Removing WordPress Comments
WP Engineer has written a solid piece on removing WordPress comments from your blog, which is exceptionally helpful for those of us who run WordPress as a content management tool instead of a blogging package. What’s nice about Frank’s work is that it completely removes the commenting from not only end users but also the admin client.
Hi Christopher,
many thanks for the tribut to my post and the resulted plugin to remove the comments.
Vielen Dank für einen großen Artikel.
My German’s pretty bad, just some introduction classes at college I’m afraid but I do what I can to use it every chance I get. Thanks again for the great article.
